“Truly worth it ”
It was close to everything and to the metro in a very Good neighborhood. The room was clean and warm. It was cleaned every day and the towels was changed every day. ( espresso machine in the room and refill of coffee capsules every day.) The staff was friendly and very helpful. Giorgio was the best, highlighting for us places we need to see and places worth eating. The breakfast was rich and there was your own fast WiFi connection in the room.
“Roman Holiday perfect location!”
Quaint location ! Staff was very helpful and friendly! The breakfast was scrumptious, lots of choices, You could eat healthy or indulge in sweets. The desk staff helped us get the best route to sites and transportation to bus station. They answered all our questions.
“Family trip to Rome!”
Great location. Newly renovated rooms. Will recommend to friends.
“Enjoyed our stay!”
We really enjoyed our stay! Staff was nice, breakfast was great! Airport service was there upon arrival and very nice. Taxi station is across the street and very convienant. Could be a bit noisy at night but that is because you are in the heart of town. The location couldn’t have been better, and felt very safe.
“Best location – comfort travel”
We had an amazing time at the Classic, the perfect spot for walking to anywhere in the city. For example, the Trevi fountain and Colleseum are within 15 minutes. I’d recommend upgrading to a Deluxe room- which is the most spacious room I’ve ever stayed at in Europe (I’d recommend asking for the Fire room on floor 2- it has an amazing view of the city action below to boot!). On top of the location, the place has the perks of a hotel while the comfort of having your own apartment. Upon check in you’re given keys to the building in addition to your room- to help you check in and out with ease. It has a nice breakfast spread and friendly staff who made great restaurant recommendations. Would definitely recommend staying here, as we’ll plan to be back the next time we’re in Rome!
Room was very large, breakfast was great.
Hotel is within an easy 10 min walk from both the Spanish Steps & Trevi Fountain.
Great Jazz Club (Gregory’s) right around the corner. Tons of great food nearby. Also 5 mins from the Subway.
Could not recommend more. Room was spotless.
“Had a “classic” roman experience”
We’ve been to Rome several times before and stayed in hotels in other areas, such as Trastevere and Termini, which were all great too. But The Classic Roma had everything we wanted. We had a big spacious, very clean, and comfortable room. Breakfast (not included in our package) was purchased for only 5 Euro and you get a simple but filling buffet of coffee, meats, cheese, cereals, some salad and juices. It’s location was very convenient. You were practically at the center of Rome. Fontana di Trevi was less than 5 minutes away. All the others were walking distance. Barberini Metro was also 5 minutes away. A big plus was the helpfulness of the receptionists. Giorgio, though he knew we’ve been to Rome before, still gave us lots of tips and suggested new sites to visit. He made checking in and out smooth and convenient. Elena, the other receptionist, too was helpful . When we asked her to make a restaurant reservation at La Taverna dei Fori Imperiali, she promptly called and we were able to got the last table for the night. Another receptionist was also helpful in booking us a taxi. They were all friendly. And to top it all, their rates are so reasonable. Hope to be back here next January to enjoy Rome and bring our friends.
