In a few minutes on foot, over the street that runs along the Trevi Fountain, you can reach Imperial Rome: the Coliseum, Domus Aurea, Via Sacra, Piazza del Campidoglio.
St Peter’s and Vatican City can be reached with a pleasant panoramic walk along the banks of the Tiber river, skirting Castel Sant'Angelo.
The Classic Roma is also near the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Pantheon: all landmarks that are just a 5-10 minute walk away. From the Pantheon you can head to Piazza Navona and Campo de' Fiori. From here you can cross the Tiber over the Ponte Sisto bridge to the Trastevere, the popular district of old Rome. Do not miss the La Farnesina villa and Palazzo Corsini.
From our guest house, walking along the elegant Via Gregoriana, you arrive at an open space from which you can enjoy great views from the top of the steps of Trinità dei Monti and Piazza di Spagna. Further on down the street you pass in front of the XVI century Villa Medici, home of the Accademia di Francia to reach the panoramic Pincio terrace with its incomparable views over Rome and behind which you’ll find Rome’s expansive monumental park, Villa Borghese.
The Borghese Museum, the finest museum in all of Rome, can be easily reached on foot up Via Crispi, the street the hotel is on. Once at the juncture with Via Veneto, pass under Porta Pinciana to reach Villa Borghese, home to the Palazzina Borghese, especially designed to house what some have called “the most beautiful collection of art in the world.”
